Join us for a tour of the night sky! Use our telescopes—including the 20-inch state-of-the-art telescope in the Palmer Observatory—to get a close-up view of planets, galaxies, nebulae and much more while astronomers from the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit share cosmic knowledge and answer your questions. Star Parties occur on the second Saturday of each month, from dusk until 10:00 PM, weather permitting. Admission is FREE.

There is no admission cost to the public for the second Saturday star parties at SBMNHHow
just show up and Admission is $2 for adults, and $1 for children 12 and under, and free to Museum and AU members.
