In February American Girl introduced the very first BOY character into their line-up of American Girl dolls. Logan Everett, was introduced along with Tenney Grant. Tenney, a singer-songwriter from Nashville who is pursuing her dream of becoming a singer and Logan is her bandmate.
While we did not get a chance to check out Logan, we had a chance to meet Tenney and check her out for ourselves and my daughter, Victoria really fell hard for her. Victoria loves to sing and dance (She was in choir this year and was a dancer in her school's play) so Tenney was the perfect doll for her and she totally loved how cute, pretty and talented her new doll is.
Tenney is a beautiful doll with long, light blonde hair with a few curls. As Victoria said, "She is my first Blonde American Girl doll." She has pretty brown eyes and a bunch of really adorable freckles on her face.
She is wearing a dark purple, suede mini skirt and a pretty pink t-shirt, along with a denim vest and dark brown ankle boots. She comes with a storybook about her struggles to be a song writer and we really loved reading the book to Tenney. In addition she wears a pretty bracelet with musical charms on her wrist.
We fell in love with Tenney. She looks super adorable and her face is really pretty. We also really loved her back story and how she is singer/song writer. Her clothes are also a little different from the normal American Girl dolls. You can see her legs! Her mini skirt really shows them off and the ankle boots I really loved much more than the typical American Girl shoes/sneakers/flats that most of the dolls wear.
