Moo La La Boutique’s children’s & maternity consignment sale is this weekend on April 1st-3rd at the Santa Maria Fair Park Convention Center. The goal behind this sale is to help families turn outgrown, gently-used children’s clothing, toys and gear into cash.

- Sat 4/2 10am to 5pm
- Sunday 4/3 10am to 3pm on discount day
During the event consignors receive 65-80% of the selling price of their children’s items. While consigning will bring cash to families, shopping the event is also very beneficial. Shoppers receive steep discounts on name brand children’s clothes, shoes, toys and gear. On average items can be found at 30-90% off the original retail price. Many of the items found at the event are brand new, with tags and still less than half of retail cost. Everyone wins at consignment events like Moo La La Boutique. In addition to consignors making money and shoppers saving money, the community also wins. Each sale, Moo La La sends left over donations from the sale directly into the hands of those who need it. The charity chosen for this sale is, The Children’s Resource Network (a community partnership that works together as a team to help the disadvantaged children and struggling families in our community.)
Moo La La is expecting families from several local communities to consign during the Spring Sale. Items will be sold from areas such as: Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Orcutt, Lompoc, VAFB, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, Avila Beach, San Luis Obispo, Buellton and as far north as Paso Robles and even some long-time consignors in San Jose.
Moo La La Boutique adds a new twist to the children’s consignment industry by featuring local mom-based businesses geared towards children and family. When we all come together as a community, it helps strengthen our local economy.
This will be Moo La La Boutique’s sixth sale held on the central coast, at the well-known Santa Maria Fair Park, in Santa Maria. This HUGE sale will feature over 14,000 square feet of new and gently used clothing and products pertaining to children newborn to age 14. They will also have a wide array of vendors, ranging from home-based businesses, to handmade items from local moms. We feel the public will truly embrace this form of “recycling” and saving money.
