LEARN MORE ABOUT THE TEAL PUMPKIN PROJECT™ FOR KIDS WITH ALLERGIES

Teal Pumpkin Project™ Creates a Safer, Happier Halloween for All!

By Intro Paragraph By Macaroni Kid Publisher Kate / Sharon Rosenthal MK SB Publisher October 23, 2016
The Teal Pumpkin Project™ is now in its third year. It raises awareness of food allergies and promotes a safer, happier Halloween by encouraging households to make non-food treats available so that trick-or-treaters who need to avoid candy, due to food allergies or other reasons, can fully participate. Households can show they are participating by placing a teal pumpkin in front of their home.

This Halloween, FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education) is encouraging communities to start a new tradition that will help make this holiday season less scary for children with food allergies: the Teal Pumpkin Project.

RSVP & SHARE the Facebook Event

This campaign encourages people to raise awareness of food allergies by providing non-food treats for trick-or-treaters and painting a pumpkin TEAL - the color of food allergy awareness - to place in front of their house along with a free printable sign from FARE to indicate they have non-food treats available.
