Strawberry season is finally here bringing with it the 30th Annual Santa Maria Strawberry Festival, coming up April 28-30, 2017. Festival gates open at 11:00 A.M. and close at 10:00 P.M everyday. 

The 2017 festival will celebrate the 30th Annual The Santa Maria Valley Strawberry Festival. The festival kicks off the valley’s Strawberry Season, supports our local agriculture and encourages the healthy indulgence of strawberries, all in a fun filled, three day weekend community event.

The event promises to showcase local talent, and offer a wide variety of interesting things to do and see. With your paid admission enjoy a variety of FREE attractions, everything from cooking demonstrations to educational and wildlife exhibits, FREE. Naturally, we also feature FREE* strawberry tasting and desert eating contests. Come see all the awesome sights and sounds of the Festival. 

The Strawberry Festival also features pony rides, a traditional carnival, including a full kiddie carnival, commercial displays and a FREE petting zoo. Be awed by local farmers/growers gigantic, farm fresh, sweet and beautiful berries displayed for sale. You will see some of the many variations of the strawberry, as well as other traditional fun carnival foods, all in a wholesome and entertaining atmosphere. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, so don’t miss it!, It’s sure to delight the entire family!



Tickets for general admission are $10 for adults and $7 for youth. Children 5 and younger are free. Wristbands are $30.
